Earthquake in Nepal! M5.5 hits Northern part of Bajura on January 9




Kathmandu, January 9 National Seismological Center web portal reported an earthquake measuring M5.5 on Richter scale in Far Western Nepal at 13:29pm local time (7:44 UTC) on Jan 9th. According to the NSC the quake was epicentered at Northern part of Bajura.

285km WNW from Pokhara
196km N from Nepalgunj
175km ENE from Mahendranagar
